THE BABY SHOWER!

Baby Evan joined in the fun too, he was the most well behaved one. Especially compared to Shelly and Erin.
A bottle drinking contest, Terry Schnitzer was the big winner!
The grandma's and aunts
A few more pre-party pics, before the crowds arrived...
Thanks again to everyone that helped out, especially Michelle and Jamie, you guys threw a great party. And by great party I mean gathering for women only to come and watch people open presents... anyone looking to plan a bachelor party, you may want to hire someone else.Friday, September 28, 2007
BIG NEWS! David and Cole have a Cousin on the way! (Plus more ultrasound photos w/ 3D!)
We got great news yesterday as Baby A weighed in at 3 lbs 8 oz, and Baby B 3 lbs 9 oz, they each gained exactly 1 lb since our last appt 3 weeks ago. In a few days they will qaulify for the welter weight division.
Well, April and I had to wait over 2 hours before seeing a doctor yesterday for a scheduled ultrasound. To thank us for our patience they gave us 3 free 3D pictures which were really neat, unfortunately Baby B wasn't cooperating, so we only got them from Baby A.
Another good face photo, in this one you can see two fingers going into the mouth. Baby A was doing some funny things with his hand and his nose, but he can assure you, "THERE WAS NO PICK!"
Last of the 3D photos, it is a bit cropped out because parts of April's uterus were blocking the shots (very rude), but you can see from this picture that at least Baby A has April's nose and not mine, to which everyone seems overjoyed.
Here's a really good profile of Baby A.

AND NOW FOR THE BIG NEWS!
Michelle and Mike have accounced that they too are pregant and are expecting their first child in late March. David and Cole are excited about cousin "Buddy" and can't wait to find out if they will be having a boy or girl cousin. This pregnancy also proves that no member of the Levison family knows how to use birth control Be very careful Jamie and Henry!

New Ultra Sound Pictures of Baby B!
Only Baby B was cooperting 2 weeks ago when we got the ultrasounds, Baby A was curled in a ball facing toward April's belly, so we couldn't get any good pictures, but the great news is they are within 1 oz of each other weighing 2 lbs 8 oz and 2 lbs 9 oz, with Baby B weighing in slightly more for the time being. My parents and April's mom all were present at the ultrasound, so some extra people got the see the babies move in person.

The Latest Round of Ultrasounds
Here we are at week 24 (about 10 days shy of 6 months), and we have more photos to share. Since I've been told that is was confusing last time, I will take everyone's advice and post my comments about the photos, below each picture.

BOTH OF THEIR HEADS TOGETHER ABOVE
First we'll do Baby B. Mainly because that is the way the photos showed up here and I don't want to re-organize them!
A good photo of Baby B's face.
An Arm at the top, and I think both of their heads.
Flexing.
Baby B's Foot
AND NOW, BABY A!
Baby A's leg looks incredibly strong. He is in better shape than I am! I guess it's all that milk that April drinks.
This is what proves Baby A is a boy and not a girl.
Baby A's face. I know it looks a little spooky here, but when you see it moving, they already look like babies ready to be born.
Baby A is covering his face from annoying flash bulbs.
Baby A's arm. I think it is his eyes behind too. He looks like the Evil version of Batman, from Batman Begins.
Well, that's it for now. We did find that each baby has it's own plancenta, so the liklihood is about 2/3 chance they are not identical, but we do know that we won't know for sure until they are born. More photos to come in 3 weeks! Stay tuned!

April's Belly at 18 weeks
Although these pictures were taken a week ago, and April is even bigger now, they show how much room the babies are taking up already! April's belly was 7 inches at week 5, subsequent measurements were 10 inches, 17 inches, and now 24 INCHES! In the past 4 weeks she grew from 17 to 24 inches, which means that in a month she added about the original size of her belly when we found out she was pregnant (week 5), on top of her already big belly
